Kenneth D. Jensen, age 84, of Kearney, Missouri, and Frankfort, Michigan, passed away on March 22, 2026.<\/p>\n
Ken was born on November 5, 1941, in Frankfort, Michigan, to Carl E. Jensen and Velma M. Jensen. He grew up in Frankfort and graduated from Frankfort High School with the Class of 1960. During his high school years, Ken was highly involved in school life, participating in baseball, basketball, and football, serving on the student council, and proudly representing his classmates as senior class president.<\/p>\n
Shortly after high school, Ken was drafted into the United States Army, where he proudly served his country. Following his military service, he continued his education and earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Industrial Technology from Lansing Community College in Lansing, Michigan.<\/p>\n
On June 14, 1969, Ken was united in marriage to Jacqueline S. Jensen (Conley) in Owosso, Michigan. Their 56-year marriage was blessed with three children.<\/p>\n
Ken began his working career with Luedtke Engineering Company in Frankfort, Michigan, where he worked as an engineering draftsman on marine construction projects. He later relocated to Owosso, Michigan, to accept an engineering role with Midland Brake. During his time there, Ken served in numerous engineering and product management roles, ultimately finishing his career as a Product Manager for Haldex Brake Systems in Kansas City, Missouri.<\/p>\n
Ken is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; daughter, Cheri (Troy) Newhouse; sons, William (Meredith) Jensen and Jeffrey (Janelle) Jensen; his cherished grandchildren, Matthew (Kadee) Newhouse, Dylan Newhouse, Ryan Jensen, Brandon Coleman, and Jaydyn Jensen; great-grandchildren, Tucker and Cooper Newhouse; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.<\/p>\n
Ken will be remembered for his dedication, leadership, and the pride he took in his family, education, and service. His roots in Frankfort remained an important part of his life, even as he made his home in Missouri.<\/p>\n
In accordance with Ken\u2019s wishes, cremation has taken place, and private family services will be held at a later date.<\/p>\n
