\"Kathryn<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are some people whose love quietly shapes the lives around them every single day. Our mother, Kathryn Cecilia Bach, 85, was one of those people. On May 18, 2026, she peacefully began her journey home to Heaven, leaving behind a family forever changed by the strength, love, and grace she carried throughout her life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kathy was born in Chickasaw County, New Hampton, Iowa, on March 30, 1940 to Felma and Edward Glaser. Sister Janis (Glaser Dillon Bach) and younger brother Brian. It was here, she met the Love of her life, James Clarence Bach. The two married April 30, 1960 in Alta Vista, Iowa.<\/p>\n

They moved to Kansas City in 1961, where she continued her one and only job with United Airlines as a Customer Service Representative. Over the years she held many positions and locations within her 44 years. She devoted her life to supporting and caring for her family and was actively involved in many organizations, often serving in leadership roles. She had a deep love for genealogy and treasured learning about family history. She also enjoyed traveling and appreciated the opportunity to experience many beautiful places and create lasting memories along the way.<\/p>\n

Jim and Kathy are survived by their four daughters, Teal Janelle (Kevin) Overcash, Toye Rachelle (Doctor Joseph) Palazola, Traycee Danelle (Chris) Golden, and Tasha Michelle (widow of Steven) Karst. She cherished her grandchildren, Autumn (Jamie Kowalski), Jayme (Josh Feaster), Dakota VanBebber, Brandon (Ivy) Golden, LLiam Golden, Trapper Golden and Amy Wright; and five great grandchildren, Adysen and Sydney Kate (Kowalski), Austin and Brock (Feaster) and Ariana (VanBebber). Kathy is survived by her brother, Brian (Jeannette) of Kansas City, and sister-in-law, Rosalee (LeRoy) Bach of Boone, Iowa; as well as her children and grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n

She now joins her beloved husband, Jim, whom she deeply missed since his passing in October of 2013.<\/p>\n

The family expresses deepest gratitude to KC Hospice, especially Tammi, Leslie, Richard and Yolanda.<\/p>\n

All services are being held at the Church of the Annunciation, 701 North Jefferson Street, Kearney MO, held Thursday May 21, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. for Rosary, visitation follows at 5 p.m. Catholic funeral mass will be held Friday 22, 2026 at 10 a.m., followed by Catholic Burial at Resurrection Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri.<\/p>\n

Arrangements are in care of Fry-Bross and Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney.<\/p>\n
