Constance Darnell 73, of Excelsior Springs, Mo, passed away Friday, July 10, 2026, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO.<\/p>\n
Connie was born February 12, 1953 in Stockton, California. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Carole and Lee Darnell, and her brother Richard Darnell.<\/p>\n
Connie was a graduate of lake Oswego high school in Oregon. She also attended nursing school in Houston, Texas.<\/p>\n
Connie enjoyed life, going to the zoo, camping, watching baseball and traveling. She always had a positive attitude.<\/p>\n
Connie is survived by Mr. Bear; her sister, Debbie Schooler; sister-in-law, Robin Darnell; and her very best friend, Teresa Kelman; along with several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 421 S. Titus, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024.<\/p>\n
On behalf of everyone at CDC, I am deeply saddened by the passing of Connie Darnell at the age of 73. As General Manager of CDC, I want to express our sincere condolences to Connie\u2019s family and loved ones. Connie devoted many years of dedicated service to CDC in both Texas and Missouri, where she earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues through her hard work, professionalism, and kindness. She made a lasting impact on our organization and will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of working with her. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.

I have had the privilege to work with Con for almost 14 years. During my visits to the USA and her visits to the Netherlands we spend a lot of time together. Also privily we kept in contact after her retirement. On her fridge, at the height of mr.Bear, there was even a drawing my daughter made for mr.Bear. Every x-mas my daughters received a x-mas card from mr.Bear. We will miss her !!

Where would we be without her! Next to a fantastic colleague she also was our friend. Someone who always wanted to help, teach and train. We will miss her dearly.

\nI was deeply saddened to hear about Connie\u2019s passing. My thoughts are with you all during this incredibly difficult time.
\nI had the pleasure of working with Connie for more than 10 years when she was in customer service roles, and she was truly a wonderful person to work with. She always had the European team in mind and understood the challenges we faced with the time zone differences. Whenever we needed her help to get things done, nothing was ever too much trouble. She would coordinate with the factory and with us to make sure everything came together, always with a positive attitude and a great sense of humor.
\nBeyond being a fantastic colleague, Connie was a warm and fun person who brought joy to those around her. When she visited Europe, we had the opportunity to show her around together with her best friend Teresa. We shared wonderful moments, and I will always remember her enjoying a good glass of red wine and the great times we had together.
\nI am truly saddened by Connie\u2019s passing. She will be missed by many, and I hope that the wonderful memories you have of her will bring you comfort in the days ahead.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Connie’s passing.<\/p>\n
Connie was one of the first people who helped me during my initial days at Continental Disc Corporation. I will always remember her kindness, patience, and willingness to help. She had such a warm heart and was always ready to support others with a smile. Her guidance made a real difference to me, and I will always be grateful for her encouragement and generosity.<\/p>\n
