Gerald Justin Smalley Jr., 77, Lawson, Mo., passed away on August 2, 2026.<\/p>\n

He was born on November 4, 1948 to Gerald J. and Dorothy L. (Tobie) Pence Smalley in Independence, Mo.<\/p>\n

He married LaDonna Coffin December 11, 1996.<\/p>\n

Gerald (\u201cBub\u201d to his family and friends) loved being with family and friends enjoyed fishing and music. His Christian faith was very important to him.<\/p>\n

He was proceeded in death by his wife; parents; sister, Sandra Williams; brother-in-law, Ray L. Williams; and great nephew, Andy Beyer.<\/p>\n

He is survived by his brother, Rob (Lisa) Smalley, Lawson, Mo.; niece, Tobie (Don) Beyer, Sedalia, Mo.; nephews, Mike (Amber) Smalley, Chris Smalley, and Ray L Williams; and great nephew, Alex Beyer; and other great nephews and nieces.\u00a0 Also, stepchildren and grandchildren.<\/p>\n

Graveside service will be held on August 21, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Old Union Cemetery, Lawson, Mo.<\/p>\n

Arrangements are in care of Bross & Spidle Funeral Home Lawson Chapel, Lawson, Mo.<\/p>\n
