He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Neild.<\/p>\n<p>Ronald graduated from North Vermillion High School in 1969 and went on to build a long career with Union Pacific Railroad, where he worked for more than 30 years before retiring. He was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment to doing every job well.<\/p>\n<p>Family was an important part of Ronald&#8217;s life. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and extended family, creating many memories that will be cherished for years to come.<\/p>\n<p>He is lovingly remembered by Le Anna Neild; Raschelle Neild and her children, Max Theoharis, Melaina (Theoharis) Dunn and her husband, Dylan Dunn, and Lia Theoharis; Crystal Neild; Amanda Neild and her children, Alison Engelage and Alex Engelage; and Andrew Neild and his children, Haden Neild and Ben Neild. He is also survived by his sister, Donna Holmes, several nieces and nephews, as well as extended family members and friends.<\/p>\n<p>Ronald will be remembered for his quiet strength, steady nature, kindness, generosity, and the simple moments he shared with those he loved.
