{"id":2553,"date":"2018-07-07T14:46:06","date_gmt":"2018-07-07T14:46:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=2553"},"modified":"2018-10-12T22:02:14","modified_gmt":"2018-10-12T22:02:14","slug":"jackie-mae-ferguson","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2018\/07\/07\/jackie-mae-ferguson\/","title":{"rendered":"Jackie Mae Ferguson"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2558 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/jackie_ferguson.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"260\" height=\"389\" srcset=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/jackie_ferguson.jpg 260w, https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/jackie_ferguson-201x300.jpg 201w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 260px) 100vw, 260px\" \/>Jackie Mae Ferguson, 90, of Pleasant Hill, Mo., passed away July 7, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Jackie Mae Ferguson was born in Clifton, Tennessee on April 23, 1928 to Elmer and Ola Williams.\u00a0 In 1951, Jackie moved to the Kansas City area with her husband, Reverend Dennis Louis Smith.\u00a0 They were married for 29 years before his passing.\u00a0 After Reverend Smith passed away, Jackie married Charles Edwin Ferguson.\u00a0 They were married for 20 years.\u00a0 Both Jackie and Charles worked at Ford Motor Co. in Claycomo.\u00a0 Jackie worked for Ford for 13-1\/2 years before retiring in 1987.\u00a0 Charles passed away in 1996.\u00a0 Jackie moved to the Lawson area to be closer to her family.\u00a0 During her life, Jackie had five children of her own.\u00a0 She also raised a granddaughter and two stepdaughters and three stepsons.<\/p>\n<p>Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Ola Williams; husbands, Reverend Dennis Smith and Charles Ferguson; children, Paula Collins and Larry Bevil; granddaughter, Tara Travilli; and a great granddaughter, Jacquelyne Kay Williams; as well as seven brothers and two sisters.<\/p>\n<p>Jackie is survived by children, Linda and Joe Berry of Cowgill, MO, Denise and Jack Cannon of Goodwater, AL, Larry and Mary Smith of Polo, MO, Tammie and Mike Lea of Lawson, MO, Kimberly and Darrell Williams of Independence, MO, Ronnie Bevil of Denver, CO, John Ferguson of Illinois, Diana Warren of Kansas City, MO, and Claudia Crabb, of Independence, MO; 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Fry-Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney, MO, with visitation from 11:30 to 12:30 a.m. prior to the service.
