Chuck was born on January 12, 1935 in Lordsburg, New Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>Charles was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War.<\/p>\n<p>Chuck was the quintessential blue collar worker. He drove a truck, worked in several factories, his last position was that of custodian for Liberty Public Schools. He enjoyed tinkering on old cars, fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his grandson, Chas K. Cone.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his wife, Julie A. Gross, his son, Charles R. Cone, and his granddaughter, Morgan Cone.<\/p>\n<p>A celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the Eagles Lodge, 14305 Highway Y, Excelsior Springs, Mo.<\/p>\n<div class=\"pdfprnt-buttons pdfprnt-buttons-post pdfprnt-bottom-right\"><a href=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/2634?print=print\" class=\"pdfprnt-button pdfprnt-button-print\" target=\"_blank\" ><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/pdf-print\/images\/print.png\" alt=\"image_print\" title=\"Print Content\" \/><\/a><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Charles William Cone Jr., &#8220;Chuck Cone&#8221;, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away on July 26, 2018 at home.
