{"id":3003,"date":"2018-10-08T16:44:08","date_gmt":"2018-10-08T16:44:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=3003"},"modified":"2018-10-12T20:45:17","modified_gmt":"2018-10-12T20:45:17","slug":"carolyn-marleen-colburn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2018\/10\/08\/carolyn-marleen-colburn\/","title":{"rendered":"Carolyn Marleen Colburn"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3006 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/carolyn_colburn.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"451\" srcset=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/carolyn_colburn.jpg 500w, https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/carolyn_colburn-300x271.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/>Carolyn Marleen Colburn, 84, Kearney, Mo., passed away peacefully in the arms of Jesus on Monday, October 8, 2018 at North Kansas City Hospice House.<\/p>\n<p>Carolyn was born July 13, 1934 to Ivan and Lilah Nance in King City, Mo.<\/p>\n<p>She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Boss Colburn, and grandson, Blaine Colburn.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by her step children and spouses, Louis and Marie Dodson, Walt and Gail Colburn, Charles and Carol Miller, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, October 12, 2018 at Fry-Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home.\u00a0 A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, McFall, Mo.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>To Carol&#8217;s family,<br \/>\nCarol and I were good friends. She worked for John Lange at the Kirby office in Sedalia and I was a saleslady. We shared many hours together. We were the only 2 &#8220;girls&#8221; there. I missed her when she moved away. She was a sweet lady and always a good friend to talk to. I know she is with the Lord right now. Even tho we have not seen each other in many years, I already miss her! Memories will always live in our hearts. I know she loved you very much and she was proud of each of you.
