\"\"Doris Amelia Willis, 88, of Excelsior Springs, passed away October 27, 2018.<\/p>\n

Doris was born July 19, 1930 in Boonville, Mo., to John C. and Amelia (Timm) Edwards.\u00a0 Doris worked for many years at Job Corps.\u00a0 She also worked as a bookkeeper and various other jobs.\u00a0 She was always a hard worker and did what was necessary to take care of her family.\u00a0 Later in life, she was in charge of the card ministry at Church of God.<\/p>\n

Doris is survived by her daughter, Nancy Krueger; sons, Joseph Hilden, and Bill and Diana Hilden; step-children, Barbara Offutt, Kathy McElduff, and Dorian Willis.\u00a0 She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and many extended family and friends.<\/p>\n

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Denzil Willis.<\/p>\n

Doris will be missed by all who knew and loved her.<\/p>\n

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, Mo., with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.\u00a0 Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery in Excelsior Springs.<\/p>\n
