{"id":3403,"date":"2018-10-29T19:17:36","date_gmt":"2018-10-29T19:17:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=3403"},"modified":"2018-11-03T19:22:32","modified_gmt":"2018-11-03T19:22:32","slug":"charles-charlie-edward-coleman-jr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2018\/10\/29\/charles-charlie-edward-coleman-jr\/","title":{"rendered":"Charles &#8220;Charlie&#8221; Edward Coleman, Jr."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3407 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/charles_coleman.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"466\" srcset=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/charles_coleman.jpg 400w, https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/charles_coleman-258x300.jpg 258w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/>Charlie Coleman died at Liberty Hospital after a long illness on Monday, October 29, 2018, at the age of 75.<\/p>\n<p>Charlie is survived by his daughters, Cathy Peoples, Knoxville, Mo., and Melanie Johnson, Kansas City, Mo.; grandchildren, Mason Harris, Liberty, Mo., and Cloey Denny, Kansas City, Mo.; sisters, Linda Towers, Venice, Fla., Sarah \u201cCookie\u201d Nelson, Aberdeen, Wash., and Dorothy Gage, D\u2019Alene, Idaho.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patricia Coleman.<\/p>\n<p>Charlie was born in Newport, Ark., on November 24, 1942 to Cecile Eileen (Winters) Coleman and Charles Edward Coleman, Sr.\u00a0 He was the only boy of five children.\u00a0 He attended Excelsior Springs High School and was married to Linda (Summers) Evans from 1963 to 1970.<\/p>\n<p>Charlie was a student at auto body school in Kansas City, where he acquired the skills that helped him to become a talented and well-known auto body man in the area.
