{"id":3492,"date":"2018-11-26T19:35:26","date_gmt":"2018-11-26T19:35:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=3492"},"modified":"2018-12-08T00:08:03","modified_gmt":"2018-12-08T00:08:03","slug":"gary-dean-shipley","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2018\/11\/26\/gary-dean-shipley\/","title":{"rendered":"Gary Dean Shipley"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3497 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/gary_shipley.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"438\" srcset=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/gary_shipley.jpg 450w, https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/gary_shipley-300x292.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/>Gary Dean Shipley, 60, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away November 26, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Gary was born July 8, 1958 to Thomas Robert and Harryett Shipley in Yakima, Wash.\u00a0 Gary was a 1976 graduate of Excelsior Springs High School.\u00a0 He enjoyed collecting and saw value in everything.\u00a0 Gary was always willing to lend a hand and help with anything that he could.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Shipley.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his mother, Harryett Shipley; daughter, Rachel Beach; sons, Tyler Donnell, Daniel Shipley and Joseph Shipley; five grandchildren; brother, Tony Shipley; and sisters, Tammy Pulliam and Debbie Palermo.<\/p>\n<p>A memorial service will be held at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTwenty four and there\u2019s so much more.\u201d \u2013 Neil Young<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements in care of Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>The last few times I saw Gary I always said hello.\u00a0 I knew he didn\u2019t look good but I didn\u2019t realize his health was so bad. I\u2019m sorry for your loss.\u00a0 Bob, Eric, and I spent a lot of time with him.
