Georgia was born February 4, 1939 to Frank Moore and Venus Audry Pierson Moore.<\/p>\n<p>Georgia started working as a young lady in the family business ran by her grandparents, Noah and Alma Person, called OK Taxi, with a small restaurant included. Over the years she worked at several local restaurants, Whitaker Cable, Avsco, and retired from Gilmore Hose. She had a big part of helping raise her grandchildren after retiring. She never missed a sporting event of her grandchildren or great grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>She was proceeded in death by her parents; husband of 32 years, Junior Brown; sisters, Betty Bennett, Wilma (Corky) Moore, Joyce Leeka and Carolyn Moore.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by her children, William Whitworth, Roy and Tracy Adams, David and Kelly Adams, and Belinda and Bill Halberstadt; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; and brother, Denny Moore of Maryville, Tenn.<\/p>\n<p>There will be a Celebration of Life from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.<\/p>\n<div class=\"pdfprnt-buttons pdfprnt-buttons-post pdfprnt-bottom-right\"><a href=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/3545?print=print\" class=\"pdfprnt-button pdfprnt-button-print\" target=\"_blank\" ><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/pdf-print\/images\/print.png\" alt=\"image_print\" title=\"Print Content\" \/><\/a><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Georgia Nadine Brown, 79, passed peacefully in her sleep at home on December 6, 2018.
