Margaret Elizabeth “Lizzie” Clevenger of Excelsior Springs passed away peacefully on February 12, 2019 at North Kansas City Hospital.<\/p>\nMargaret Elizabeth “Lizzie” Clevenger of Excelsior Springs passed away peacefully on February 12, 2019 at North Kansas City Hospital.<\/p>\n
Lizzie was 85 years young. She was born on the 12th month 14th day of 33 to parents Bob and Vergie Stevenson of Liberty, Mo.<\/p>\n
Lizzie worked as a Dietician staff member at Excelsior Springs Hospital, where she earned numerous awards for her dedication and work ethic. Lizzie would say she only called in 1 time in 53 years for being ill.<\/p>\n
Her favorite job of all time though was raising many kids, grandkids, great grandkids, even other people’s kids that she loved dearly.<\/p>\n
Lizzie is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Vergie Stevenson, husband, Bill Clevenger, and daughter, Sally Sellars.<\/p>\n
Lizzie is survived by one son, Bill “BC” Clevenger, and dog, Snoodles of the home; four grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends that called Lizzie family.<\/p>\n
Visitation will be held at Bross & Spidle Chapels, 217 W. Broadway, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024 on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m.<\/p>\n
Burial will be held at Providence Cemetary at 12206 N. Stark, Kansas City, MO 64167.<\/p>\n
Will miss your sweet smile. Thank you Lizzie for your years of service to Excelsior Springs Hospital and to our community. I will see you again in Heaven.

\nRejoice always as Aunt Elizabeth would do. She loved her family and was always there for them, she was truly a woman who as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that is\u00a0 described in Proverbs 31:10-31. As a nephew I will miss her and the love she had for me and all. She never had an unkind word for anyone, always lifting others up.\u00a0 May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you at this time and remember she is in His arms.
