Wasser and enjoyed traveling and pursuing new and interesting hobbies with John.\u00a0 She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Park University in 1994 with a degree in computer based information systems.\u00a0 Edie was the kindest of souls who loved her family and friends and spending time with them.\u00a0 She enjoyed learning, discovering new hobbies, traveling and reading.<\/p>\n<p>Edie was preceded in death by her mother, Louise, father, Herman, sister, Della, and brother, Charles.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by her husband, John Wasser; her daughter, Chala Flanery married to Rick; her son, Matt Pierson; her daughter, Kathy Sanford married to Matt; her grandchildren, Jamie, Chad, Amber, Jackie, Courtney, Emilie, and Jonah; 18 great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Sally Wasser; her sister by choice, Daisy Ealey; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Fry-Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney, located at 208 S. Jefferson St., with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. prior. Burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Plattsburg, Missouri.
