{"id":4654,"date":"2019-07-28T15:19:07","date_gmt":"2019-07-28T15:19:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=4654"},"modified":"2024-07-27T20:08:16","modified_gmt":"2024-07-27T20:08:16","slug":"esther-marie-alley","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2019\/07\/28\/esther-marie-alley\/","title":{"rendered":"Esther Marie Alley"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4656 alignright\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/esther_alley.jpg\" alt=\"Esther Marie Alley\" width=\"318\" height=\"395\" srcset=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/esther_alley.jpg 318w, https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/esther_alley-242x300.jpg 242w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 318px) 100vw, 318px\" \/>Esther Marie Alley, 83, Excelsior Springs, MO, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>She was proceeded in death by her father, Orville Butler; her mother, Ethel Marie Srader Butler; husband of 65 years, Milton Alley; and her great granddaughter, Chrissie Lee Adair.<\/p>\n<p>Esther is survived by her two daughters, Lorene Marie Swope and Diane Frances Fitzgerald; three brothers, Francis Robinette, David Butler, Paul Butler and Mark Butler; her grandchildren, Jennifer Jones, Eric Henry Sr., Melissa Roberts, Dawn Storey, Chad Storey, John Fitzgerald III, Mary Kate Fitzgerald; seven great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Esther received her nursing degree in 1969.\u00a0 She taught at St. Ann\u2019s, Independence, MO, and at Job Corps in Excelsior Springs. \u00a0She later taught religion at St. Ann Parish, Excelsior Springs, MO.\u00a0 She was a parishioner of St. Ann Parish in Excelsior Springs for over 40 years.\u00a0 She was also an avid Chiefs fan &#8211; &#8220;Go Chiefs!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Rosary will be held 10 a.m., Friday, August 2, 2019 at Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home with visitation following until 11 a.m. Mass will held 11:30 a.m., at St. Ann Catholic Church, 1503 Tracy, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024 on Friday, August 2, 2019.\u00a0\u00a0 For interment, we will go in procession to Mount Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64138.<\/p>\n<p>In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Ann Catholic Church.<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements in care of Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.<\/p>\n<div class=\"pdfprnt-buttons pdfprnt-buttons-post pdfprnt-bottom-right\"><a href=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/4654?print=print\" class=\"pdfprnt-button pdfprnt-button-print\" target=\"_blank\" ><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/pdf-print\/images\/print.png\" alt=\"image_print\" title=\"Print Content\" \/><\/a><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Esther Marie Alley, 83, Excelsior Springs, MO, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2019.
