{"id":4736,"date":"2019-08-08T19:33:11","date_gmt":"2019-08-08T19:33:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=4736"},"modified":"2024-07-27T04:48:27","modified_gmt":"2024-07-27T04:48:27","slug":"delbert-harold-robbins-iii","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2019\/08\/08\/delbert-harold-robbins-iii\/","title":{"rendered":"Delbert Harold Robbins III"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4738 alignright\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/delbert_robbins.jpg\" alt=\"Delbert Harold Robbins III\" width=\"263\" height=\"297\" \/>July 20, 1962 ~ August 8, 2019<\/em><\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, August 8, 2019, Delbert Harold Robbins III, a loving husband, father, grandfather and son passed at the age of 57 years.<\/p>\n<p>Delbert passed after a 5-year battle with cancer.\u00a0 He fought extremely hard and surpassed doctor expectations.\u00a0 He loved caring for his grandson Jordan, wrestling with his son Connor, watching Darian succeed, and life with his wife Kim.\u00a0 Delbert and Kim were married on August 26, 1989.\u00a0 He worked for 30 years in the HVAC industry as an ice machine mechanic.<\/p>\n<p>Delbert loved the ocean.\u00a0 Some of his family\u2019s favorite memories with him are going to Myrtle Beach and spending time in the ocean.\u00a0 He loved WWF wrestling, prime rib, Hi-boy shakes, and taking the family to the Twin Drive-In.\u00a0 He was a big Ted Nugent fan, binge watcher of <em>The Walking Dead<\/em>, and loved the movie <em>Tombstone<\/em>.\u00a0 He loved to hunt and fish.\u00a0 He proudly proclaimed that he has caught 17 catfish in two hours.\u00a0 He had a knack for finding the things that others thought were eternally lost.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his wife, Kimberli; daughter, Darian, 23; son, Connor, 16; grandson, Jordan, 4; mother, Joanne Dutton of Raytown, Mo.; brother, Alex Tarrant of Raytown, Mo.; three nieces; and lots of extended family and dear friends.<\/p>\n<p>A memorial service will be held at Orrick United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. A dinner following the service will be provided by the ladies of the church.\u00a0 Flowers may be sent to Orrick United Methodist Church.\u00a0 Donations can be made to the University of Kansas Cancer Center or the church.<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements in care of Bross &amp;
