Philip Ray Piburn, 73, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away Monday, May 15, 2017. He was born June 5, 1943 in Excelsior Springs, Mo., to Jim and Ruth Piburn.<\/p>\n

Phil was an advocate HAM Radio Operator and worked at Whitaker Cable Corporation for 20 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family at their local muzzle loading club, Ft. Osage, as well as playing his banjo and guitar at the local VFW and merchant shops.<\/p>\n

Phil was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda Walker.<\/p>\n

Survivors include his sister, Donna Davis; wife, Paulette; children, Michael Piburn, James Piburn, Jason Piburn, Heather Piburn, and Halie Piburn; along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.<\/p>\n
