Richard Vaglica, 68, of Kansas City, MO, passed away December 29, 2019 at his home.<\/p>\nRichard Vaglica, 68, of Kansas City, MO, passed away December 29, 2019 at his home.<\/p>\n
Mr. Vaglica was born August 28, 1951 to Carmello and Alma Vaglica in Cape Girardeau, MO.<\/p>\n
Richard worked as a Bus Operator at KCI Airport before his retirement.\u00a0 He loved hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding and inventing things. \u00a0He was a wonderful husband and father and loved his family and friends very much.<\/p>\n
He is survived by his wife, Anita; daughter, Lesli and husband, Kalen Kieffaber; grandson, Dawson; granddaughter, Eleanor; sister, Melinda Gentry; and brothers, Mike and Danny Moore.<\/p>\n
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, January 3, 2020 with service following at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, 208 S. Jefferson St., Kearney, MO. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kearney, MO.<\/p>\n
Dear Anita and Leslie and family,
\nCousin Richard is a great Man and now in heaven. The almighty has taken him up to heaven so he can rest. Danny has welcomed him with open arms. Just like the first time he met my Danny. Richard always enjoyed our family and was always here for our family. Watching him opening his arms to great us will surely be missed. Peace to all his family\u2019s and loving and caring wife Anita and his precious daughter Leslie. Richard was my first cousin. He was a wonderful father and husband. He was wonderful grandfather. Richard and I organized many family reunions together. I will miss his weekly phone calls. I am so heartbroken and I know that he is with our Lord Jesus Christ in heaven. We will always cherish his memory. My thoughts and prayers go to his family, Anita and Lesli. Rest in Peace Cousin Richard. My condolences to Anita, Leslie, and the rest of his family and friends. I will always cherish the wonderful memories that I have of Richard. The reunions and parties that we attended. He was always there to help people in need. He was not only a cousin, but also a friend.

My sympathy goes out to the family. Cousin Richard will be dearly missed. He was a good man, if someone needed help he would be there to help with whatever they needed help with. I will miss him. God has taken another angel. He will be looking down on all of us to make sure we are all ok. RIP cousin Richard.
