{"id":5583,"date":"2020-02-14T05:33:20","date_gmt":"2020-02-14T05:33:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=5583"},"modified":"2024-07-27T04:10:54","modified_gmt":"2024-07-27T04:10:54","slug":"john-steven-jewell","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2020\/02\/14\/john-steven-jewell\/","title":{"rendered":"John Steven Jewell"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5585 alignright\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/john_steven_jewell.jpg\" alt=\"John Steven Jewell\" width=\"300\" height=\"369\" srcset=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/john_steven_jewell.jpg 300w, https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/john_steven_jewell-244x300.jpg 244w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>John Steven Jewell, 65, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away February 10, 2020 in the comfort of his bed, surrounded by loved ones, after a battle with cancer.<\/p>\n<p>Steve was well known throughout the community and has left his mark as a stone mason, as well as his personality that lit up any room he entered, including his favorite breakfast place at Ray\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his loving father and mother, Donald Jewell and Betty Jewell.<\/p>\n<p>Steve is survived by his sons, Leigh Jewell, Keith Jewell, and Garrett Lindmark; his daughters, Melissa Jewell and Melanie Jewell; his grandchildren, Tyler Jewell, Brendan Jewell, Toby Garner, Tate Lindmark, and Jace Bollinger; and his great grandchild, Kennedy Jewell.<\/p>\n<p>Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m., February 22, 2020 at Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs, Mo.
