\"JudithJanuary 18, 1941 \u2013 March 20, 2020<\/em><\/p>\n

Judith \u201cJudy\u201d Riley, 79, passed away unexpectedly on March 20, 2020 in Sarasota, Florida. A native of Kearney, Missouri, she resided in Florida since 2008. Judy was the daughter of the late Orville and Mildred (Hartel) Neth. She was a 1959 graduate of Kearney High School and was a long-time member of Arley United Methodist Church. She worked as an accountant at Waddell & Reed for over 30 years. Judy enjoyed painting, genealogy, traveling and most of all, her grandchildren.<\/p>\n

She is survived by her son, Glen Riley and wife, Kristen; grandchildren Brett, Jenna, and Brooke Riley, of Sarasota; brother, Jerry Neth and wife, Sheriann; and many family members and friends in both Kansas City and Sarasota.<\/p>\n

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Arley United Methodist Church, 17122 C Highway, Kearney, MO 64060.<\/p>\n

Due to the current pandemic, there will be a private visitation and burial service for the family on Friday, March 27, 2020.<\/p>\n

Judy was part of our family for the past 22 years so this was a devastating loss. She was a very dear friend and \u201cgrandma-in-law\u201d who was loved by our whole family. We did a lot of things together while you and Charlie were growing up , from preschool to going to and graduating from University of Missouri. What a wonderful person and a wonderful life. Glen and family, relatives on the Neth side, friends on the Riley side, we never got to visit any of you while Judy was in Sarasota but we are thankful that she spent her life close by with your care and love.\u00a0 Being a first cousin, Judy was my only female cousin.\u00a0 I followed her through elementary, high school and college.\u00a0 She was dear to us and we’re pleased to have had her in our life.\u00a0 Bless you all.
