He was 91.<\/p>\n<p>Bobbie was born May 1, 1929 to Ellen (Johnson) and Clarence Shelton in Orrick, MO. He had two sisters, Thelma and Letha, and two brothers, Edwin and Earlwood. All who preceded him in death.<\/p>\n<p>On September 10, 1962, Bobbie married the love of his life, Geneva (Cohoon) O&#8217;Dell and resided in Excelsior Springs. The blended family included six boys and three girls, Mike, Russ, Terry, Tim, Tamra, Kevin, Robert, Ellen and Larissa; as well as 14 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, with another on the way, and a great, great grandson who is due in August, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>After retiring as a milkman from Country Club Dairy, Bobbie went on to deliver parts for O&#8217;Reilly Auto Parts. Bobbie was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time with and laughing together with his family and many friends. He was\u00a0 always found in church on Sundays. He was committed to taking care of his family and thoroughly loved going for\u00a0 drives with his darling wife of nearly 58 years. A devout Christian, loving husband, father, grandfather, he will be missed greatly by his family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>Viewing hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, with graveside service at 1 p.m., Hillcrest Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>Honorary Pallbearers are Lee O&#8217;Dell, Brent O&#8217;Dell, BJ O&#8217;Dell, Kyle O&#8217;Dell, Jeremy O&#8217;Dell, Brian Shelton, Cody Shelton, Aaron Propst, and Shawn Hammond.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>Praying for the family during your loss. I love that family like they were my own family and I will surely miss Bobbi smile and jokes.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #888888;\">Candi Munsterman<\/span><\/p>\n<p>So very sorry to hear of Bobby\u2019s passing. I will always remember the times he came to visit with Bob. They were always trying to out do each other with a joke! !973&#8230;the year we moved into our home.\u00a0 We always told each other we couldn&#8217;t have better neighbors!\u00a0 We will miss Bob&#8217;s concern for his yard, our yard, and for our trees which were shedding something each season.\u00a0 We joked, for years, about how our trees were so good about sharing.\u00a0 There&#8217;s lots of things we will miss about Bob, but most of all he was
