She grew up in Tucson, Arizona where she was an honor student in elementary and high school, as well as the University of Arizona (B.A. Elementary Eduaction, 1964).<\/p>\n<p>While in junior high school, Charlotte became a born again Christian during a revival at the Boulevard Baptist Church in Tucson and was disciple through Sunday school, Baptist Training Union, Girls in Action and Baptist Women\u2019s Ministry.<\/p>\n<p>During her college days, she felt the call to be a pastor\u2019s wife and God provided a candidate when her soon to be husband moved to Tucson to work in the copper mines and to attend the University of Arizona. They dated during their freshman year and were married June 9, 1962. God blessed them with a beautiful son, Timothy Ray, in 1964. Both Charlotte and Dan worked and continued their university studies.<\/p>\n<p>While Dan attended seminary at New Orleans Baptist Theology Seminary, Charlotte earned at Pht (Put Hubby Through) degree by teaching at local elementary schools. She continued to teach during Dan\u2019s first two pastorates, but retired to be a full-time mother and pastor\u2019s wife in 1975.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout their 58 years of continual ministry, Charlotte served in many capacities in the church and community. Her true loves were God, her husband, family and God\u2019s people. Charlotte\u2019s hobbies were home decorating, homemaking, flower arranging, softball, camping, boating and table games. Charlotte\u2019s core Christian values were love, integrity and service.<\/p>\n<p>Charlotte is survived by her husband, Dan; son, Timothy and wife Soheyla; granddaughters, Madison, Aleyna and Kennedy; grandson, Austin Carol; brother, Gary Allen Ramsey; sister, Polly Schleicher; nieces, Debbie McCullough and Donna Williams; and nephew, Eddie Williams.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>Dear Dan,<br \/>\nMy prayers are with you. Dan&#8230;My heart is full with God&#8217;s love for you and your Sweet Charlotte.\u00a0 The influence that the two of you had on me cannot be measured in my life.\u00a0 The Pastor of one&#8217;s youth holds special meaning and this is certainly true in the Stammann family ministry to me.\u00a0 Please accept my heartfelt condolences and know the the influence you had on our young lives is paramount to any good thing we have achieved in adulthood.\u00a0 Love and prayers always.<br \/>\nDan Long<\/p>\n<p>Bro. Dan, It breaks my heart to hear about Charlotte. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. What a wonderful impact you both had on my life and so many others. Know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. It is a comfort to know we will see her again one day.
