She was a graduate of the class of 1971 from Clopton High School.<\/p>\n<p>She married James \u201cJim\u201d Thomas on June 29, 1996. Together, they owned and managed The Armory in Kearney. He survives of the home.<\/p>\n<p>Sharon is survived by her spouse, Jim; her mother, Shirley; two daughters and one son-in-law, Jennifer and Jason Gant of Hardin, Mo., and Samantha Goldenstein of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Steve and Scott (Denise) Oliver; two sisters, Susan Oliver and Stacy (Jason) Erickson; three grandchildren, Samara, Weston, and Kaleb Gant; her best friend and aunt, Carrol Totten; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>She is preceded in death by her father and one sister, Sheila Farris.<\/p>\n<p>A visitation will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Fry-Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney, Mo.
