Sullivant, 72, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away June 24, 2020 at North Kansas City Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>John was born April 13, 1948 in Wendell, Idaho, to Junior &#8220;J.C.&#8221; and Julia (Washburn) Sullivant.\u00a0 He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.\u00a0 John loved gardening, ham radios and most of all his family and visiting with friends.<\/p>\n<p>John was preceded in death by his parents, Junior &#8220;J.C.&#8221; and Julia Sullivant.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his sister, Judy (Dale) McCall; nephew, Benjamin (Stacie) McCall and great nephew, Nicholas McCall; niece, Molly (Aaron) Barlow and great niece, Olivia Barlow; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and friends.<\/p>\n<p>John will lie in state from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.\u00a0 Monday, June 29, 2020 at Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs.\u00a0 A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.\u00a0 Memorial contributions can be made to St Ann Catholic Church in Excelsior Springs.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>Judy, I am so sorry for John&#8217;s passing.<br \/>\nPrayers for you in the coming days.<br \/>\nRhonda Amos<\/p>\n<p>I knew John through St. Ann&#8217;s and the Knights of Columbus, he will be remembered fondly.<br \/>\nKenneth Devlin<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"pdfprnt-buttons pdfprnt-buttons-post pdfprnt-bottom-right\"><a href=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/6612?print=print\" class=\"pdfprnt-button pdfprnt-button-print\" target=\"_blank\" ><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/pdf-print\/images\/print.png\" alt=\"image_print\" title=\"Print Content\" \/><\/a><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>John A.
