Michael was born November 9, 1962 in North Kansas City, Mo., to Barbara (Duval) and William Cook.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Jeanelle; daughter, Heather; son, Joe; granddaughter, Lola; his beloved dog Izzy; brother, Jack Cook; sister, Christine (Roger) Glenski; in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended in-law and step families, as well as many friends.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 28, 2020 at Hillcrest Cemetery. Reception to follow at Watkins Mill State Park.<\/p>\n<p>In lieu of flowers\/gifts, memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kchospice.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KCHospice.org<\/a>, 816-363-2600).<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements are in care of Bross and Spidle, Excelsior Springs.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>Jeanelle, Heather, Joe, and Lola &#8211;<br \/>\nWe are so sorry for your loss.
