Her parents were William and Muriel (Lamb) Cathcart. She attended Excelsior Springs school graduating high school with the class of 1964. Following high school she worked at several jobs including Whitaker Cable, secretary for the Excelsior Springs School District at the Central office and the high school. She retired in 2005.<\/p>\n<p>She married Donald Gene Jeffers on May 21, 1965.<\/p>\n<p>Judy is survived by her husband of 55 years; their son and daughter in law, Bryon and Amy Jeffers; her grandchildren, Tristin and Gabby Jeffers, Dirk Jeffers, Trinaty Jeffers and Creth Jeffers; her brother, Bill Cathcart; and a host of cousins and friends.<\/p>\n<p>Judy was always a fun loving person.\u00a0 She was a member Beta Sigma Phi for many years in Excelsior Springs, Mo.\u00a0 She participated in a Pro Bowling League that traveled for tournaments and winning many trophies. She loved to cook for her family and others. She also searched for her ancestors and went to cemeteries looking for them. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Three Rivers Hospice or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alz.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alzheimer\u2019s Association<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Judy will be in-state from 12 to 2 p.m., Monday November 30, 2020 at Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.\u00a0 A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Lawson Cemetery.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>Our sincere sympathy to the Jeffers family and all relatives.\u00a0 We are very sorry for your loss.\u00a0 You are in our prayers.<br \/>\nDana Howard<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m so sorry to hear this.\u00a0 Judy was one of the sweetest people I ever met.\u00a0 My heart is heavy.
