She grew up in Grand Forks and was married to Edward Kirwan for 13 years. Rita worked a majority of her career at UND\/Altru Rehabilitation Center. She faithfully attended The First Church of God.<\/p>\n<p>Rita is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Audette; sister, Carmen Jorgenson; granddaughter, Ashleigh (Andrew) Curfman; granddaughter, Amanda Dewick (Audette); grandson, Blake Audette; great-grandson, Braden Curfman; great-grandson, Granger Curfman; great-grandson, Raynor Dewick; and great-granddaughter, Harper Curfman.<\/p>\n<p>She was preceded in death by her parents, John \u201cJudy\u201d and Lulu Ruddy, and her siblings, Marilyn Burgeson, Tom Ruddy, Susan Melville, Peggy Kiel, and Jackie Fichtner.<\/p>\n<p>Private graveside services at Memorial Park South Cemetery in Grand Forks, North Dakota will be held at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements in care of Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>Kim and family,<br \/>\nA difficult year made even more so by Rita\u2019s passing.
