{"id":8406,"date":"2021-02-12T15:21:57","date_gmt":"2021-02-12T15:21:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=8406"},"modified":"2024-07-26T17:57:49","modified_gmt":"2024-07-26T17:57:49","slug":"david-hugh-harness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2021\/02\/12\/david-hugh-harness\/","title":{"rendered":"David Hugh Harness"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-8412\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/David-Harness2.jpg\" alt=\"David Hugh Harness\" width=\"280\" height=\"321\" srcset=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/David-Harness2.jpg 280w, https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/David-Harness2-262x300.jpg 262w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 280px) 100vw, 280px\" \/>David Hugh Harness, 71, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, passed away February 12, 2021, at his home.\u00a0 David was born\u00a0July 28, 1949, in Ottumwa, Iowa, to Donald and Jean Harness.<\/p>\n<p>David met his wife, Anne, while in college and married May 22, 1970.\u00a0 They went on to have three sons, David, Steven, and Todd.\u00a0 He was a loving father and devoted husband.\u00a0 When he was genuinely amused, his laughter and smile lit up the room.\u00a0 He enjoyed making homemade fudge or popcorn for family movie and game nights.<\/p>\n<p>David was preceded in death by his parents, Donald R. Harness and I. Jean Harness.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his wife, Anne; children, David, Steven (Brandi), and Todd; brother, Donald (Susan); 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements in care of Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>I will miss David very much.
