{"id":8571,"date":"2021-04-08T04:47:53","date_gmt":"2021-04-08T04:47:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=8571"},"modified":"2024-07-26T16:42:09","modified_gmt":"2024-07-26T16:42:09","slug":"lorene-faye-hamlett","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2021\/04\/08\/lorene-faye-hamlett\/","title":{"rendered":"Lorene Faye Hamlett"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-8573\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/lorene_hamett.jpg\" alt=\"Lorene Faye Hamlett\" width=\"320\" height=\"387\" srcset=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/lorene_hamett.jpg 320w, https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/lorene_hamett-248x300.jpg 248w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/>On Thursday, April 8, 2021 Lorene Faye Hamlett, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away.\u00a0 She was surrounded by her family at the time of her death.<\/p>\n<p>Lorene was born March 16, 1928 in Tyronza, Arkansas, to Ross and Edna (Sullivan) Teague.\u00a0 She married Glenn Hamlett on July 5, 1975.<\/p>\n<p>Lorene had an unquestionable love of faith and family. She attended church faithfully for as long as her health permitted.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by her husband, Glenn Hamlett; one daughter, Teresa Havens (and Neil) of Lawson, Mo.;\u00a0 step children, Cheryl Taylor, Vickie Nash, Glennda Lang, Oren Hamlett, and Lisa Hamlett. She is also survived by one sister, Ruth Dyer of Holt, Mo.; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Edna Teague; children, Linda Greenough and Anthony (Tony) Shelton; brothers, Anthony Virgil Teague, Nathan \u201cJack\u201d Teague, Oscar Teague, John Robert Teague; and sister, Joyce \u201cJolly\u201d Teague.<\/p>\n<p>Visitation will be Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, Lawson, Mo., from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., with the funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>I met Lorene and Glen at Excelsior Springs Independent Living center. Some of the sweetest people I&#8217;ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. I did everything I ever could for them there. They hold a special place in my heart. My sympathy goes out to Glen and all of the family who grieve the loss of Lorene. She was a wonderful lady who I will never forget!
