She married Leonard \u201cTennessee\u201d Russell on November 11, 1955.\u00a0\u00a0 She was a 1956 graduate of Lawson High School.\u00a0 Pat worked at Whitaker Cable for 17 years.\u00a0 After retirement she took canvas painting classes and painted a few paintings and liked adult coloring books.\u00a0 She enjoyed walking Walmart and talking to everyone as she never met a stranger.\u00a0 She also liked sitting on her new front porch. She was a loyal customer of Catrick\u2019s Caf\u00e9 and enjoyed buying mints to share with other customers and especially the children.\u00a0 She hated wearing shoes.<\/p>\n<p>Pat\u2019s biggest joy was her grandkids and great grandkids, they kept her young and adventurous, she enjoyed going on motorcycle rides with her grandson and riding in the razor with her granddaughter, along with target practicing.<\/p>\n<p>Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons-in-law, Mitchell Evans, Toxie Evans and Michael Minnaert.<\/p>\n<p>Pat is survived by her children, Carl (Karen) Russell, Kathy Minnaert and Ruth Ann Evans (Billy Bloss); eight grandchildren and 20 great grands; sister, Mary Fitzgerald; and two nieces, Cindy Thurston and Judy Cleaveland.<\/p>\n<p>A visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, July 5, 2021, at Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home Lawson Chapel, 214 N. Pennsylvania, Lawson, MO 64062 with funeral service 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2021 also at the funeral home, followed by burial at Elmira Cemetery, Elmira, MO.\u00a0 In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to a charity of donor\u2019s choice.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>I will always remember hearing our grandparents (your parents) refer to you as Patty Cake, and that is what we knew you by for years. Us Hoffecker\u2019s loved her very much!<br \/>\nI\u2019m so sorry I missed her funeral:\/ I hadn\u2019t heard of her passing until to late.<br \/>\nWe will keep your family in our prayers!
