{"id":9183,"date":"2021-07-13T01:05:30","date_gmt":"2021-07-13T01:05:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=9183"},"modified":"2024-07-26T04:28:21","modified_gmt":"2024-07-26T04:28:21","slug":"freddie-junior-vanderpool","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2021\/07\/13\/freddie-junior-vanderpool\/","title":{"rendered":"Freddie Junior Vanderpool"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-9185\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/freddie_vanderpool.jpg\" alt=\"Freddie Junior Vanderpool\" width=\"320\" height=\"303\" srcset=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/freddie_vanderpool.jpg 320w, https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/freddie_vanderpool-300x284.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/>Freddie Junior Vanderpool passed away July 13, 2021, at his home.<\/p>\n<p>Freddie was born December 17,1942, in Liberty, MO, to Fred and Marie (Woods) Vanderpool.\u00a0 Freddie was raised in Excelsior Springs, graduating from Excelsior Springs High School in 1960.\u00a0 He served in the U.S. Army National Guard from 1964 \u2013 1973 as a dog handler at NIKE bases in Lawson, MO, and Franklin Lakes, NJ.<\/p>\n<p>From a young age Freddie had a passion for agriculture and animals that carried on throughout his life.\u00a0 He owned and operated Vanderpool Feed and Supply serving the area with fuel and water deliveries as well as most farm needs.\u00a0 After its closure he worked as a paper carrier for the <em>Kansas City Star<\/em>. During his life he was known for his admiration and love of faithful dogs, cattle and good farm equipment.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Trish; sister, Beverly Schwarzel of Richmond, MO; son, Fred L \u201cButch\u201d and wife, Rebecca of Oak Grove,MO; and son, Kenman and girlfriend, Kelly of Las Vegas, NV.\u00a0 Along with his immediate family he is also survived by his large extended family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>Services will be held at St Ann Catholic Church in Excelsior Springs on Monday, July 19 2021 with a visitation at 10:00 a.m. and Funeral Mass starting at 11:00 a.m..<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements in care of Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>Trish, keeping you &amp; your family in our thoughts &amp; prayers.<br \/>\nMelissa &amp; Noah<\/p>\n<p>Trish, I am so sorry for your loss.\u00a0 Prayers for you and Butch and Kenman and the rest of your family.<br \/>\nSue Davison<\/p>\n<p>I am sorry for your loss, I am unable to attend the funeral, do to a prior commitment, but I will be thinking of you.<br \/>\nJohn A Hill<\/p>\n<p>I am so sorry for your loss Freddie was a great man and made me laugh so many times.
