\"JamesJames Wilbur Blair Jr., 86, passed away September 3, 2021, at the home he built for his family in Mosby, MO. He fought heart disease valiantly.\u00a0 He was surrounded by his family and peacefully passed in his daughter\u2019s arms.<\/p>\n

He served with the U.S. Marines in the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged.\u00a0 After his years of service, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service where he retired.\u00a0 He was known to be stubborn and funny.\u00a0 He was an avid fisherman and hunter and a self-reliant man and passed these attributes on to his three children. He worked hard, but loved even harder.\u00a0 He was a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.<\/p>\n

James, also known as Jim, is survived by his sister, Elizabeth; wife, Mary Kay; sons, Jimmy and Jason; daughter, Julie; grandchildren, Victoria, Jason, Adriana, and Colt; and great-grandchildren, Bryson and Emerson.<\/p>\n

A memorial service will be held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville at 1 p.m., Friday, September 17, 2021.<\/p>\n
