\"LloydLloyd Jr. \u201cBud\u201d Ranes passed away October 25, 2021 at the Excelsior Springs Nursing & Rehab.<\/p>\n

Bud was born on April 22, 1937 in Excelsior Springs, the son of Lloyd and Helen Ranes. Bud married Bernita Holt Ranes on July 3, 1957. They moved to Grand Lake, Oklahoma, where Bud became mayor of Grand Lake. Bud worked for General Motors for thirty years.<\/p>\n

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marletia Coffman; and a brother, Garland Ranes.<\/p>\n

He is survived by a brother, Randy Ranes and wife, Louise, of Liberty, Mo.<\/p>\n

Visitation will be Monday, November 1, 2021, from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, Mo., with funeral services following. Burial will be at Elmira Cemetery in Elmira, Mo.<\/p>\n
