Anna Lorraine Gaull

Anna Lorraine Gaull (Grannie Annie) of Kearney, Mo., was born on October 6, the Year of our Lord 1929, in Albuquerque, New Mexico the daughter of Charles and Anna Trask. She was a faithful follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, and a member in good standing of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kearney, Missouri. She was Baptized into the Christian faith on the 24th of December, 1929 at First Methodist Church in Albuquerque, N. Mex. Anna married her husband, Alfred E. Gaull, on September 4, 1949. She was confirmed in the Christian faith at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Palmdale, Calif., in September of 1956. During her time as a member of Trinity Lutheran, she enjoyed serving the Lord through the Women’s Bible Study and other fellowship activities and when she was able, she loved serving her neighbor as a hospital volunteer. As a faithful child of God, Anna was diligent in attendance, at both worship and the Lord’s Supper as her health allowed.

The Lord of the Church called Anna home to be with Him on October 29, 2012 at the age of 83 years and 23 days. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred, and her brother, Wesley Trask. She is survived by one brother, Richard Trask and one sister, Helen Trask Temperly; one daughter, Becky Cade (and her husband, Norman); three sons, David (and his wife, Emy), Douglas (and his wife, Mary), and Donald (and his wife, Abigail); nine grandchildren, Tammy and Adam Cade, Jennifer Burns, Jennifer Miller, Amanda Spear, Timothy Gaull, Natalie Gaull, Aaron Gaull, Adam Gaull; nine great-grandchildren, Christian, Savannah, Austin and Sarah Burns, Mason and Layla Cade, Caitlynn and Mekenzie Spear and Amirah Gaull; as well as her many other friends and acquaintances.

May all who mourn this death be comforted in the sure and certain hope of the Resurrection of the dead unto eternal life for all who believe and have placed their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior for even in death, He is Lord of all. To Him be the glory, the power, and the dominion, forever and ever. Amen!

Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kearney, Mo. Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 at the church. Burial in Luetie Cemetery, Theodsosia, Mo. at 1 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2012.
