Allen Mattison
Allen Jay Mattison, 59, Holt, Mo., went home to be with the Lord Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, at his home.
Allen was born Aug. 30, 1952, to Bertis and Alice Mattison. He was a graduate of Summersville High School. Allen enjoyed country music, tractor pulling and his work as an owner/operator of Mattison’s Dirt Work.
He is survived by his beloved companion, Kathy Walsh, of the home; son, Brad and wife, Heather, Kearney; daughters, Heather Michelle Bellamy, Lee’s Summit, and Amanda Renee Mattison, Kearney; one brother; two sisters and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 25, at the First Christian Church, 2151 S. Jefferson St., Kearney. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 26, also at the church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery in Kearney. Arrangements are through Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church of Kearney.
