Robert "Bob" Connell
Robert “Bob” Wayne Connell, 66, Kearney, Mo., passed away February 17, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family.
Bob was born June 24, 1947 in Clinton, Mo. He served in the U.S. Army and was a two time Purple Heart recipient, also receiving a bronze star. He enjoyed fishing, and was a fantastic husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Betty Frye.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; son, Jason Connell; daughter, Gwendolyn and husband, James Pratt; brothers, Jerry Frye, Harry Frye, and Charles Connell; grandchildren, Tearney, Bobbie Joe, Felicia, and Nicole Connell, Sarah Atkins, Carrie Kane, and Alena Pratt; grandsons, Jonathan Pratt and Johnny Griffen; great grandchildren, Austen, Amber-Lynn, and Dawsen Atkins, and Holly Heart Pratt.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are through Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney, Mo.
