Robert "Bob" Eddington
Robert "Bob" Eddington, 94, Excelsior Springs, Mo., died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, at Excelsior Springs Hospital. Mr. Eddington was born June 16, 1916, in Clearfield, Pa. He was married to Helen Bell in June 1944, and they moved to Excelsior Springs in 1957. He worked for Sheffield Steel, later Armco Steel, for more than 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Helen, son, John, and daughter-in-law, Mary Lynne, all of the home.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
