Betty Jean Gamblin
Betty Jean Gamblin, 72, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away February 13, 2015.
Betty was born July 1, 1942 in Kansas City, Mo., to Albert and Mary (Brown) Davis. She worked as a cook at several businesses. Betty was a member of Vibbard Christian Union Church, and a life member of the VFW. She was a volunteer. She loved camping and fishing with Shorty, and all things involving her family. Above all, she loved Jesus.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, sister, and three husbands.
Survivors include daughters, Christine and Rick Young, Melody and Clyde Griffin; other children, Jimmy Willard, Linda Willard, Tim Willard, Debbie Croft, Mike Griffin, Susan Griffin, Kathy Martin, Chuck Gamblin, Millie Matchett, and Lisa Henderson; sisters, Shirley Lonkouski, Carla Davis, and Vienna Helm; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Betty will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Vibbard Christian Union Church in Vibbard, Mo. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Vibbard Christian Union Church.
Arrangements are through Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
