Betty Lou Hegi
Betty Lou Hegi, 85, Smithville, Mo., passed away October 27, 2015 at her home.
Betty was born January 24, 1930 to Herman and Lena Millican in Floyd County, Texas.
Betty was a home economics teacher before her retirement.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Arthur; daughter, Debbie Overton; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held at a later date. She will be placed in the columbarium wall at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Mo.
Arrangements are through Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney.
