Bella Marie Hughes
Bella Marie Hughes, 59, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away February 5, 2014.
Bella was born January 29 1955 in Leavenworth, Kans., to John Doyle Hughes and Joanna E. (McDaniel) Hughes. Bella loved genealogy, sewing, and gardening. She was known to have a “green thumb”.
Bella was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Melvin E. Russell Sr.; husbands, Patrick W. Larkie and Melvin E. Russell Jr.; and son, Patrick J. Larkie.
Survivors include sisters, E. Sue Reed and Terri Hughes; daughter, Lark L. Amberg; grandchildren, Nathan, Catherine, Martin, Tarena, Bosha; and great grandchild, Elliott.
Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, Mo.
