Billie J. Kilgore
Billie J. Kilgore, 85, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away April 20, 2015 at the Excelsior Springs Convalescent Center.
Billie was born November 13, 1929 to William and Beryl (Barbee) Coffman in Skidmore, Mo. Billie loved being around people and many will remember her from the many years of working at Wickes, Diamond Lumber and, after retirement, the Mill Inn Restaurant. She enjoyed walking her dogs and at this time of year hikes in the woods mushroom hunting.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest Kilgore, Jr.; and a daughter, Terri Dawn Kilgore.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry and husband, Norman Martin; son, Gary and wife, Terry Kilgore; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, April 24, 2015, also at the funeral home. Burial following at Hillcrest Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, Mo.
The family suggests memorial contributions to The American Diabetes Association.
