Billy Mac Taylor

Billy Mac Taylor, 78 years, passed away on July 3, 2016 at North Kansas City Hospital. He was the son of Ray Taylor and Elva Taylor-Troxel, born July 23, 1937 in Gilman City, Mo.

Bill is the fourth of seven children. He was a 1955 graduate of Jameson High School. He spent most of his life in the Richmond and Kearney areas. He served in the United States Army from 1960-1963. Bill enjoyed tinkering with engines, watching baseball, football, basketball, drinking coffee with his buddies, family dinners and spending time with his grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Mary Shipley, Dixie Runyan and Betty Rouner.

Bill is survived by his wife, Mary Taylor, Kearney, Mo.; daughter, Kelly Hunt (Bob), Kearney, Mo.; daughter, Amy Taylor, Kansas City, Mo.; grandchildren, Taylor and Alec Buffum, Kearney, Mo.; sister, Judy Haddock (Galen), Kearney, Mo.; brothers, Bob Taylor (Glennetta), Raytown, Mo., and Rex Taylor, Richmond, Mo.; as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends to include coffee buddies.

Visitation
will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Fry-Bross and Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney, Mo. Services will follow visitation at 2 p.m.
