Beulah Wright
Beulah Luquette Wright, 91, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010. Ms. Wright was born Aug. 22, 1919, the daughter of Eraste and Dora Lacour Luquette. She was a licensed practical nurse in Excelsior Springs hospitals and clinics for more than 30 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Excelsior Springs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Wright; two sisters; and one brother. Survivors include one son, William J. Wright, Rayville; a daughter, Katherine Martin, Adrian, Mo.; a brother, Irby Luquette, Bush, La.; four grandsons; and five great-grandsons.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30, at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, followed by services at 2 p.m. Burial in Hillcrest Cemetery in Excelsior Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to the Activity Fund at Excelsior Springs Nursing & Rehab, 1003 Meadowlark Lane, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024.
