Bertha Nall
Bertha Lorene Nall, 84, Holt, Mo., passed away June 29, 2013. Lorene was born August 3, 1928 to Walter and Etta Wilson Pendleton in Mirable, Mo. She was a member of the Holt United Methodist Church, VFW Auxiliary, and Clinton County Ladies Club.
Lorene was a bookkeeper, retiring from Clay County Title. She and her husband, Robert, were also farmers who raised Polled Hereford cattle and tobacco. She enjoyed quilting, roses, hummingbirds and was famous for her apple pies and German chocolate cakes.
Lorene was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Franklin Lewis and Allen Pendleton; sister, Viola Sueser; and husband, Robert Nall.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie and husband, Jack Davidson of Liberty, Mo.; grandson, Robert and wife, Kristi Davidson; and great grandson, Jonah.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2013 at the Holt United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery, Holt, Mo. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home. The family suggests contributions to the church.
