Charles David Belben
Charles David Belben, 54, Kearney, Mo., passed away May 19, 2016. Charles was born on December 4, 1961, in Leavenworth, Kans., to Willard and Marie Belben.
He was a jack of all trades from playing sports, being a police officer, to working cattle then moved on to being a mechanic. His passion was being a loving father and most recently a grandpa.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shellie (Widows) Belben, and father, Willard Belben.
Survivors include wife, Sherry Belben; son and wife, Adam and Heather Belben, Kearney; granddaughter, Marissa Jeanette Belben; daughter, Erin Belben, Kearney; mother, Marie Belben, Kansas City, Kans.; sister, Tina Meadows, Parkville, Mo.; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016, with services to follow at Northern Hills Baptist Church, 17211 NE 180th St., Holt, Mo. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family for a memorial fund for Charles.
Arrangements are through Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney.
