Christine Irmgard Brandenburg
Christine Irmgard Brandenburg, 88, Lees Summit, Mo., passed away February 6, 2014. Christine was born February 3, 1926 to Anton and Kathrina Henrich in Marburg, Germany.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald D. Brandenburg; and son, Donald G. Brandenburg.
She is survived by her daughter, Christine “Ann” Brandenburg; grandson, Donald J. Heavener; granddaughter, Andrea and husband, Kyle Graves; five great grandchildren, Ally, Kelsey, Tyler, Lily, and Nick Graves; sisters, Hilde Will and Elfreide Gwillim; along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014, with visitation from 1:30 to 2 p.m. prior at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs. Burial will follow at Old New Garden South Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, Mo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society.
