Constance Sue Fields Carpenter
Constance Sue Fields Carpenter of Gladstone, Mo., passed away peacefully at her home.
Connie was born on November 2, 1948 to Betty Jordan and Harold Fields in Excelsior Springs, Mo. She graduated from Penney High School in Hamilton, Mo. While in high school she was active in cheerleading, marching band, and Girls Glee Club. Connie was also crowned 1967 Penney High Homecoming Queen.
Later in her life, Connie worked at numerous jobs from cooking, to pipe fitting, to truck driving.
Connie had two cherished sons, Ronald Chad Holcomb and Tyson Dean Mayes.
Connie is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Elmer and Eunice; her parents; husband, Don Carpenter; and son, Ronald Chad Holcomb.
Survivors include her son, Tyson Mayes of the home; brother, Troy Allee of Braymer; and a sister, Debbie Bolinger of Topeka, Kans.; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Services for Connie were held October 23, 2015.
