Carolyn Danner
Carolyn S. (Sorrell) Danner went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 6, 2014.
She lived in Excelsior Springs. She was retired from the Clay County Assessor’s Office in Liberty, Mo. She loved watching the KC Royals and watching her boys play. She was a very generous and loving woman.
She was preceded in death by one son, Chuck Forbes; her mother and father, Al and Norma Sorrell; and sister, Diane Jensen.
She is survived by three sons, Casey (Kristine) Forbes, Independence, Mo., Christopher Danner, Excelsior Springs, and Dustin Danner, Excelsior Springs; six brothers and sisters, David Sorrell, Kansas City, Al (Janelle) Sorrell, Tacoma, Wash., Jerry (Tammie) Sorrell, Cheryl Sorrell (Bobbie) Sams, Platte City, and Caren (Sorrell) Palmer, Excelsior Springs; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held at ES First, 1800 U.S. 69 Hwy., Excelsior Springs, Mo., with the family receiving friends from 7 to 7:45 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014 and services following.
Arrangements are through Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
