Chrystal Nichole Hampton
Chrystal "Nic" Nichole Hampton passed unexpectedly early Thursday morning, July 7, 2016 at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Mo. She was 29.
Chrystal was born on February 2, 1987 at NKC Hospital to Randy and Dawn Hampton. She graduated from Kearney High School in 2005. She has been working as a call taker for the KCPD since 2007. She loved her family, especially her nephew and niece, her family in blue and her fur babies more than anything. She loved cooking with her mama, bantering back and forth with her dad, late night talks with her sister and play dates with the kids. She loved puzzles, crocheting, games and riding ATVs in Waynoka with her family. She had an unhealthy obsession with medical tape. Loved country music and dancing. Nic was stubborn, strong, compassionate to a fault, sassy and smart. There aren't enough words to describe the hole she will leave.
Chrystal is survived by her parents, Randy and Dawn, her brother-in-law and sister, Ben and Melissa Vickers, nephew and niece, Dominic and Amialya Vickers, all from Kearney, Mo., and her grandparents.
A visitation is scheduled for 4 to 6 p.m. July 10, 2016 at Fry-Bross and Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney, Mo. Service will follow at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Friends of the KCPD Mounted Patrol in care of K-9 Corps or KCPD Care Team.
