Carol Kemp
Carol La-Vae Kemp, 79, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away February 2, 2015.
Carol was born May 2, 1935 to Horace and Bessie Koster in Kansas City, Mo. She was of the Episcopalian faith, enjoyed sewing, and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kenneth Koster.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Paul C. Kemp; daughter, Debra (Bennie) Ellington; son, Paul C. (Patti) Kemp III; brother, Wally (Evie) Koster; sister, Rozella (Dick) Decker; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2015 with service following at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney, Mo. The family suggests in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Excelsior Springs Convalescent Center, Excelsior Springs Hospice or The Liberty Alzheimer’s support group.
